Honor the Earth: Music: Concerts & Tours: 1995

The month-long 1995 Honor the Earth tour included 21 stops in towns and reservations across the western United States. The theme of the tour was "Protect Endangered Peoples, Protect Endangered Species, and each group and community profiled on this tour was working to protect plant and animal species of deep cultural and spiritual significance to their way of life.

Along with stops in big cities like Phoenix, Arizona; San Diego, California; and Portland, Oregon where Sarah McLachlan joined the Indigo Girls for a Grand Finale show, the tour crew visited the Pine Ridge Reservation, the Hopi Reservation and the Eyak Community of Alaska.
