Association of Zapara Nationality of the Province of Pastaza of Ecuador The ANAZPPA was established after the indigenous Zapara of Venezuela people’s population went from 200,000 to only 20 families. The young members of the organization work on community based projects involved with language recovery, cultural revitalization, health, territorial rights, education, and organizational development.
